Comment:

  • It's a simple language learners' community which I think. No more but quite efficiently responding lots of discussion.
  • The linking speed is so slow that drove me crazy indeed :P

COMMENT

This website is very good for those who want to know extra instructor's lesson. I'm lucky to know this information about that, because that my major is machenical engineering, and I may have to face lots of challenges of engineering while my working time in the future. Especially I must to solve them with english explanation. It is important for me to learn about some powerful academic classes, and this will help me that know how to transform my thinking.

However, this website couldn't give me a chance to discuss with those great interesting teachers. It is a pity that I can't directly understand some problem on realising. I hope one day it'll be free for every body to learn what they want to learn.

#8 Cats Musical - Memory

Cats Musical - Memory

Musical "Cats" - Memory Lyrics

Daylight
See the dew on the sunflower
And a rose that is fading
Roses whither away
Like the sunflower
I yearn to turn my face to the dawn
I am waiting for the day . . .

Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan

Memory
All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
I was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again

Every streetlamp
Seems to beat a fatalistic warning
Someone mutters
And the streetlamp gutters
And soon it will be morning

Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I musn't give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin

Burnt out ends of smoky days
The stale cold smell of morning
The streetlamp dies, another night is over
Another day is dawning

Touch me
It's so easy to leave me
All alone with the memory
Of my days in the sun
If you touch me
You'll understand what happiness is

Look
A new day has begun

***

It's quite fascinating that this song touched a lot of people indeed - including myself. I was impressive by the situatuon which the old cat faced. Though this song and musical are just telling a story, it's convinced that this kind of story are continuously happend everywhere while people inhabit in. We are luckily just listened to the music with a new power feeling inside, and just take a break, thinking how come she can do after the end....

#7 "Life after Death by PowerPoint." @ YouTube

Life after Death by PowerPoint (Chinese subtitles)

It's not searched by myself. I was shared by one of my friend about one year ago. This video is very funny that impressive me about the key point of making a powerpoint and let me barely forget at all. I think it's very useful for whoever want to get a good score of presentaion ppt while they don't know how to start. In addition, I hope that I won't make the same mistake in my presentation next week, though I'm actually not a good presenter after all. Ha ha!
